Hilltop Goa – the most obvious of the sunset views in Goa!

As they say, the climb is hard, but the view is worth it. Hilltop in Vagator is a popular destination for both tourists and locals. It’s an expansive stretch of rolling hills sitting on a cliff overlooking the sea. You can take multiple paths to explore the hills, so start an hour or two before sunset time to explore around. Head to the restaurants if you want to take a break. However, a little exploration might just lead you to a discovery! So why don’t you?

Badem Tea Stall – this one is special!

If you rent a scooter and drive around in North Goa, you will eventually reach Badem. It sits along the Chapora River, right where it meets the Arabian Sea. The water there is calm and once again, you can just head to one of the many bars sitting along this road. However, if you like to take the road not taken and love a cheap thrill, then head to this tea stall. Grab a plate of hot pakoras, and a steaming cup of chai to enjoy the best sunset view in North Goa!

Cabo de Rama cliff – worth the journey!

All good things come to those who wait. The drive down to Cabo de Rama can be a long one, especially from North Goa, the destination makes up for it. You can head to the Cabo de Rama fort, explore some ancient architecture and get an amazing view of the expansive sea. There isn’t much to do there for an entire day so we suggest heading out in the afternoon and catching the sunset at the Cabo de Rama Cliff. Nothing beats this – it’s the best sunset view in South Goa!

Baina Beach flyover – this one’s new!

Goa has been going through a  lot of infrastructural development and the Baina Beach Flyover is one of its best creations. The bridge is located at the westernmost tip of the Mormugao Taluka. It goes over the Baina beach and offers a gorgeous view of the beach and the sunset. There isn’t much to do around unless you are staying in Vasco. The best time to head here is if you’re landing at the Dabolim Airport or in the mood to drive around a bit.

Ferry ride to Chorao – this one is unique

If you book a morning nature trail to Chorao, you are in for one of the best views in Goa. On a calm day, the water is so still, you can see the mangroves’ reflection in it. Just as you are taking in the view and the cold wind blowing past you, you will see the magnificent sun rise above the Mandovi River. It’s soft and warm and fills you up with hope for good things.
