The Festival of Intruz is celebrated in the village of Dongrim and has a peculiar history. This festival includes folk dances, recitation of folk songs and dancing to the music of different percussion instruments like Dhol, Taaso and Ghumot. The festival is celebrated by the Hindus of the village, who were banned from celebrating their local festival of Shigmo. They obtained permission to celebrate Intruz instead, and thus, this is the only village where Hindus celebrate this festival.
