This 24th of June, join us poolside for a vibrant celebration of Sao Joao, Goa’s beloved monsoon festival, brought to life by Soul Travelling. The afternoon begins at 3:30 PM with a warm, musical welcome near the reception, where a friendly ambassador in a colourful shirt and the rhythm of a Ghumot set the vibe for the afternoon. Guests will then move to an open space to handcraft their own Kopels, floral crowns that are a symbol of this joyous occasion. With Kopels in place, we celebrate with traditional music and dance together as we make our way to a cross near the beach, where a short prayer is offered and a celebratory toast is shared. From there, the celebration dives straight into fun literally with a refreshing pool session featuring playful games, as fruit platters are passed around for all to enjoy. After that, we gather once again at the hotel’s restaurant space, where delicious Goan snacks, tea or coffee, and live music await. As the music continues, guests are invited to create their own feni cocktails at a specially curated grazing table, every sip a celebration of Goa’s spirited culture.
