Enjoy the Goan monsoon with a jungle experience and a monsoon trail leading to a hidden water cascade. Visit the only Basalt specimen of the Kadamba-Yadava architecture. Tambdi Surla is a historic and quaint village located in Goa, home to the Shri Mahadev Temple. Nestled deep within the lush forests of the Western Ghats, this 12th-century Tambdi Surla temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the oldest surviving temples in the state. The location amidst dense and lush forests adds to its serene and mystical ambiance, making it a popular spot for both history enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The presence of unique flora and fauna, thick foliage, rare living species, streams, and a lush flowing cascade makes it the perfect natural monsoon escape! We have curated a monsoon trail to especially explore this village, which stands as a testament to the region's rich culture, architectural heritage, and natural beauty.
