Trail Overview

The story of civilization in Goa starts with the Neolithic ages and is influenced by the Buddhists, Jains and all the other major religions in the world. Tighten your seatbelts for this roller coaster ride into the secret world of the origins of Goa with the petroglyphs, caves and treasures of Goa's glorious past!

On this trail, we explore the origins of the first settlers of Goa through the caves and carvings left behind. Some of these caves are rock cut by man, and the other is natural with evidence of it being inhabited in the past. The whole journey will change your perspective of how humans moved around the world as hunters and foragers. The rock cut carvings shows the development in the behavior of man and evolution with time.

Note: It is not a walking trail. Transport will be required to get between each of the points in the trail. We recommend using the same mode of transport used to come to the start point. Transport is not provided by Soul Travelling.
